Luxury and Location
I stayed here for a week in January with my Mom. Every detail in this condo has been considered and the owners treat this like their home, not just a rental property. The towels, the beds, the sheets and the furnishings are all top quality-as nice as I have at home. It was wonderful to sit on the lanai and get a whale show every day and having a cocktail while watching the sunset was one of the best things every day. The location is 5 stars and so is the care and attention to detail in the unit.
Heaven on Earth
From the moment you walk into Karen's home, to the moment you walk through onto the lanai, you'll realize you've found heaven. There's nothing lacking from this home, and you're but mere steps to the beach. There are countless restaurants, coffee shops, stores, and shops just across the street. Magnificent star gazing at night! You'll immediately book your next vacation back to Karen's house when you return home.
Staying in Paradise, your dreams realized.
My Maui experience, in my dreams, was to wake up and go sit on the Lanai, and be right at the ocean, not above it, or block away from it, but right there to experience the sounds, smells and wildlife...it would mean that I could use the provided snorkel gear to go and swim with Sea turtles, swim with them, and if I wanted to, reach out and pet them. I would want the place to be clean, functional and have a real Maui feel, i would want it to be close to shops and restaurants and be able to still drive to a volcano or scenic road to Hana, in my dream I would want all these things. Well guess what....this place has all that and more, LLoyd and Karen were amazing in the information / setup of the rental. In short my expectations were not met, but over-achieved. This is how Maui should be experienced, 12 out of 10 from my perspective.
